You’re invited to Tremont Institute’s 50th Anniversary Homecoming Celebration

October 13, 2019 | 5:00–8:00 p.m.

We are thrilled to celebrate 50 years of connecting people and nature with you in Great Smoky Mountains National Park! This special evening will include a social hour, seated dinner, live auction, remarks from President & CEO Catey Terry, and special 50th Anniversary commemorative ceremony.

  • S’mores bar and campfire
  • Interactive 50-Year Story recording booth in Catey’s restored 50-year-old trailer
  • Live music from Boogertown Gap!
  • A look at our second campus vision

Come ready to bid on exclusive Tremont experiences:

  • Morning on the New Property – Spend a morning juggling binoculars and Artistic Bean’s “Discovery Blend” coffee while exploring Tremont’s new property during peak songbird migration, guided by our resident birding enthusiast, Logan Rosenburg. Includes coffee and bagels. 10 guest maximum. (Spring or Fall 2020)
  • Dinner + Fireflies – An exclusive Tremont dinner on the banks of the Middle Prong and seasonal firefly viewing with Catey Terry. 8 guest maximum. (June 2020)
  • Magic of Monarch Tagging – Secure early registration to pick your best date for a private monarch butterfly tagging, hosted by our Manager of Science Literacy and Research, Erin Canter. Includes coffee and bagels. 15 guest maximum. (Fall 2020)
  • Full Day New Property Adventure – Be one of the first to explore deep into Tremont’s new property, discovering the ecosystems, biodiversity and views that this special place holds. Guided by our Education Director and expert naturalist, John DiDiego. Includes sack lunch. 10 guest maximum. (2020)
  • The Calendar Is Yours! – Gain access to register for any of our 2020 programs one week before registration is opened to the public, plus a $300 gift certificate toward a 2020 program for you to use or gift.

  • Bring an extra layer for the crisp fall evening.

Single Tickets – $60
Join us for the celebration! All proceeds from the evening benefit Tremont’s Scholarship Fund, which empowers us to provide financial aid to students and summer campers in need each year.

Single Tickets + 50th Anniversary T-Shirt – $100
Increase your impact on the Scholarship Fund and grab your limited edition t-shirt commemorating our 50th Anniversary and featuring artwork from Debora Cook.

Host Committee Tickets – $125
Maximize your impact on the Scholarship Fund and receive credit as an event host. Even if you cannot attend, please consider joining the host committee to support the Scholarship Fund!

 


Sponsorship Opportunities

Table Sponsorship – $1,000
Cover 8 seats at the “Host Committee” ticket level. You may reserve these seats for guests of your own or leave them open to be filled by Tremont. Sponsoring a table ensures that each seat represents an impactful contribution to the Scholarship Fund, and includes signage credit at your table, in Thank-You Ads, and on Tremont’s website and social media.
