During Girls in Science Camp, you’ll work with scientists to search for salamanders and catch songbirds to support research in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You’ll also build friendships with other girls as you swim in mountain streams, share stories around the campfire, and watch the fireflies emerge from the grass.

The John Thurman Smoky Mountain Trout Adventure Camp promotes an appreciation of cold-water conservation by teaching campers the sport of fly fishing in mountain streams.

Explore the wild side of the Smokies as you camp in the backcountry and explore creeks and hollows in search of the next organism.

In this 11-day summer program, you'll get up close and personal with nature - while earning college credit!

We’re taking science out of the classroom and into the great outdoors! Join us in an adventure to explore the Smokies, from the valleys of Cades Cove to the tallest mountains of the national park.

Explore the wild side of the Smokies during an adventure like no other. During this 6-day, 5-night canoe expedition, you’ll camp in the woods, paddle to remote locations, and document the biodiversity of the Smokies.
