Fall Elderhostel Program at Tremont

(Great Smoky Mountains National Park) –  Registrations are now being accepted for Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont’s Fall Hiking Elderhostel October 12 - 17. Spend the day hiking and discovering the unique cultural traditions and the rich biodiversity of the Smokies by hitting the trail! Participants will have a choice of three hikes per day, ranging from easy to strenuous. This program is presented in conjunction with Elderhostel, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational travel opportunities for those over 55.
 
The cost per person is $475, which includes instruction, meals and lodging. Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission of providing in-depth experiences through residential educational programs designed to nurture appreciation of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, celebrate diversity, and foster stewardship.  Tremont welcomes all ages to step away from their daily routine to learn, reflect and grow while in the heart of Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
