(Great Smoky Mountains) Pull your teams together! Join your friends at Tremont for our first ever all park scavenger hunt which includes questions and activities that relate to information and places within Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Teams will have the opportunity to interact with our national park in an educational, in-depth, meaningful and family-friendly way. The hunt will range over most of the park, using roads and official trails to access particular areas and some questions may require research, sometimes extensive, to devise the answer.
The registration fee is $50 per team. You can have as many people on your team as you like, provided all fit into one vehicle. One registration form per team must be completed and submitted to Tremont no later than 4 p.m. on Monday, March 3rd. As it is illegal to remove items from the park, one (1) digital camera with a flash memory card will be required per team.
This event is limited to 200 people, so register today by e-mailing Tremont at mail@gsmit.org or by calling 865/448-6709. For more information on the scavenger hunt and other exciting Tremont programs call visit www.gsmit.org/hunt.html.
