Evaluating Tremont's Impact
Learn why your school's visit to Tremont will be "more than just a field trip."
Join our guides and experience the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains firsthand on a three-day backpacking adventure. We provide all the information, food, and gear (except sleeping bag) for your excursion. This is a safe, educational, and enjoyable way to learn about backpacking in the Smokies. Participants must be in good physical condition and be able to hike 5-8 miles a day in rugged, mountainous terrain. Program lasts from Friday morning to Sunday afternoon.

What better way is there to enjoy early fall than with a group of adventurous women on the trail and around the campfire. It’s “Girl Power” all the way as we climb mountains, forge streams, and leave our hectic lives behind (along with make-up and under-wire bras, wahoo!). Get ready to recharge your batteries while marveling at the natural wonders around you.
