Tree Mapping in Walker Valley
To supplement the vegetation maps of the park, Tremont participants have been working on mapping the tree species in Walker Valley. We mark off a small section of trail and count and record all the trees growing in that section. Each group does a new section of trail, so that we eventually will map out all the trails and beyond.
