**NOTE** Due to December’s winter break timing, we have moved this event to the SECOND Thursday of the month for December only.

On the third Thursday of every month, members of the Community for Schoolyard Teaching and Learning meet to connect, share resources, and get excited about engaging with students in their schoolyards.

This month we will explore different kinds of maps, and think about how maps help us (and our students) get to know our local environment. From mapping schoolyard resources to exploring historic redlining maps, we’ll discuss how maps can deepen our sense of place in all subject areas.

We invite you to be part of these meetings by joining this active network!

Please note that meetings are currently virtual, but we hope to transition to in-person meetings when it is safe to do so.
