Reignite your “why” at the Schoolyard Escape.

We’re combining two of our popular educator programs, the Schoolyard Network and Teacher Escape Weekends, to create the all-new Schoolyard Escape! During this single-day, in-person session, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• connect and share with other regional educators
• practice methods for harnessing your students’ innate curiosity and wonder as learners
• (re)discover the joys of teaching in the outdoors
• learn new lessons that you can take back to your schoolyard, regardless of your students’ age or subjects you teach

The Schoolyard Escape will take place at South Knoxville Elementary School and is open to K-12 educators across all subjects. No prior outdoor teaching experience is necessary; you don’t even have to have a big outdoor classroom! All you need is a willingness to try something new to engage your students.

Cost: $75 per person, or 2 people for $100
Registration includes breakfast, lunch, and all course materials.
