Spring has sprung and summer is just around the corner! What a great time of year to experience Tremont Institute’s “Springtime in the Smokies Photography Workshop” in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Last month, 34 photographers from all skill levels, gathered at Tremont Institute to capture the Smokies through their own lens. Some of the participants experienced Tremont for the first time, and some have been coming to Tremont for years.

Val Weston, photographer and long-time program participant at Tremont, recently wrote a beautiful article sharing her photography experience at Tremont.

“I love my new home state out west but the Great Smoky Mountains, Tremont, and this workshop in particular hold a special place in my life. It’s a retreat and a reunion,” says Val.
