Take the Next Step

Thank you for coming to Tremont! We hope to see you back on campus again soon.

Now that you’ve had a taste of the Tremont experience, we’d love to introduce you to more ways to get involved. Whether you choose to take another class, volunteer your time to support community science or education efforts, or make a donation to invest in our ongoing work connecting people to nature, we’d love to have you be a part of the Tremont family.

Learn more in the links below, and don’t hesitate to reach out directly with any questions or ideas for additional ways you’d like to get involved.

Contribute to Community Science Projects

Help us monitor and understand species in the Smokies. From bird banding to monitoring phenology plots, analyzing data to counting wood frog eggs, we’re looking for dedicated volunteers who can commit to recurring seasonal shifts. Learn more.

Become a Tremont Volunteer

Help spread the word about Tremont at community events, contribute your writing or photography skills, lend a hand with grounds maintenance, assist with admin duties, or put your skills to use in other meaningful ways. Check out our list of volunteer opportunities.

Keep the Conversation Going

Share your ongoing nature explorations, ask questions, and stay connected with your peers in a Tremont Facebook group. Join the Tremont SANCP Alumni (for anybody who has completed an SANCP class) or the Tremonster Photographic Society (for anybody who has completed a Tremont photography workshop) or the Teacher Network (for all educators!)

Help Us Make a Bigger Impact

Support our work of connecting people to nature year-round by making a donation. Sign up for a recurring monthly gift or make a one-time donation to help us continue to provide life-changing experiences for learners of all ages – any gift amount is appreciated! Make a donation.

Stay in Touch

Follow and tag us on social media – we’d love to see your future explorations, hear your thoughts from the class, and follow how you continue to build your skills. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or LinkedIn.

Check Your Email Preferences

Our adult programs often sell out, so make sure you stay notified when new classes are added by subscribing to our emails. If you already receive emails from Tremont, you can still opt in for specific notifications such as photography workshops, SANCP courses, hiking and backpacking trips, family programs, and more. Fill out this form with your email preferences.
