Give the Gift of Nature

Your support now promises life-changing learning experiences in the Smokies yet to come.

Donate – Annual Fund

Giving to the Annual Fund supports Tremont’s most critical needs at this time with decreased program revenue by supporting our incredible staff in the work they are doing with schools and families.

Donate – Scholarship Fund

Giving to the Scholarship Fund creates opportunities for youth to experience the wonders of the Smokies who otherwise could not afford it. Because we anticipate decreased school programming in the next year, the most immediate way to help Tremont in our mission of connecting people and nature is to donate to the annual fund.

GivingTuesday

On December 1, we will celebrate GivingTuesday by livestreaming from our home in Great Smoky Mountains National Park throughout the day on our Facebook page. The day will include song performances, views from the Middle Prong, Smokies trivia, campfire stories, and more!

We want to use this day as an opportunity to give back to our communities by sharing the gift of nature (virtually!). Help us reach even more people by sharing these fun posts with your friends and family on December 1!

Online Silent Auction

Beginning on Tuesday, December 1, and running through December 15, we will be hosting our first ever online silent auction. Bid on unique and exclusive Tremont experiences, including private birding and monarch butterfly tagging, guided hikes to secret Smokies haunts, a private riverside dinner and firefly viewing, a Cherokee history hike and storytelling, and much more! All proceeds from the silent auction will benefit our operating fund. Stay tuned as we announce more details about the auction in coming weeks!

Planned Giving

Planned gifts provide an individual with the opportunity to combine their personal charitable interests with long-range financial and estate planning. There are a variety of tools available to donors who want to maximize the value of their gift to both themselves and the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont.

Please contact Caleb Carlton at [email protected] to discuss planned giving opportunities.
