Wilderness Emergency Medical Responder Courses

Tremont’s Wilderness Emergency Medical Responder (also referred to as Wilderness First Responder) courses are ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, scout leaders, camp counselors, and any other youth or outdoor professional. It not only offers hands-on training for dealing with bites, burns, and other injuries, but also teaches participants how to manage conditions brought about by extreme temperatures and other environmental hazards.

Our Wilderness Emergency Medical Responder course is presented in partnership with Roane State Community College Continuing Healthcare Education and meets the Tennessee Emergency Medical Services standards and National Registry standards for first responder training.
