Discovery Camp is where kids go to be kids – getting curious, asking questions, exploring new places, and feeling free – all while living inside Great Smoky Mountains National Park and gaining a deeper appreciation for nature.

Each day will be full of exciting discoveries as your kid gets up close and personal with the forests, rivers, and critters that make these mountains home. Campers will search for salamanders, collect insects, experience the power of a waterfall, hike through the wilderness, cool off in the swimming hole, and laugh with their new friends around the campfire. They’ll push boundaries, learn from the forest, gain outdoor skills, and practice observation – discovering just how exciting and awe-inspiring nature can be.

Registration includes instruction, food, and lodging in our dorm inside Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
