Join Tremont on Saturday, April 11th, 2026, for our one-day Schoolyard Escape workshop at Belle Morris Elementary – an amazing professional and personal development experience for educators across the Schoolyard Network and beyond. Throughout the day, we’ll:

• explore teaching strategies in an outdoor setting
• connect and share with other like-minded educators
• try out new lessons you can take back to your schoolyard, regardless of the grades or subjects you teach
• earn 7 hours of professional development

No prior outdoor teaching experience is necessary – you don’t even have to have a big outdoor classroom! All you need is a willingness to try something new to engage your students. Open to K-12 teachers across all subjects and experience levels. 

This workshop will take place in the schoolyard of Belle Morris in Knoxville, TN. Registration is just $40, which includes breakfast, lunch, and all course materials. Sign up by January 31, 2026, to save $5 on registration!
