What We Do
At Tremont, learning is all about experience. Step outside. Explore and ask questions. Lots of them. Learn to think problems through. Come up with new ideas. Test those ideas. Try something new together. Classrooms without walls provide endless opportunities. A Tremont experience can be life-changing. Watch our videos or give us a call to learn how.
Place-Based Education
A big part of the Tremont experience is location, and our classroom is one of the most beautiful places in the country. It is rich in diversity. A preserved wilderness. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is an ideal setting for place-based education. Our fees include food, lodging and instruction, and we can house up to 135 visitors at a time.
Outcomes and Impacts
With a curriculum that matches standards and a professional faculty of full-time educators, learning at Tremont not only equips students with skills and knowledge, but also inspires curiosity and critical thinking.
