Live and Learn – Plan Your Trip
Tremont has been educating and hosting groups for 50 years. Visitors typically stay onsite with us for 3-10 days living and learning in the world’s greatest classroom. We believe everyone can benefit from time spent in nature. We encourage everyone to find moments to have a “Tremont experience” where ever they may be.
School-Age Overnight Field Studies
Schools from across the country spend 3-5 days during the school year living on Tremont’s campus inside Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Through our unique co-teaching exchange, skills and teaching techniques used here are easily transferred back to the home classroom. The lessons and memories live on well past the time spent here.
Educator Workshops
Part intense workshop, part forest retreat – two days inside a national park at the direction of our enthusiastic faculty will enhance your teaching for years. Beyond content loading, our methods tap into the nature of people and how they learn best. Revive curiosity and get people thinking again. Teachers who attend a Teacher Escape Weekend are eligible for special pricing for their school groups.
College and University
We work closely with faculty to customize programs and tailor curriculum to support the needs of students in their particular fields of study and according to particular academic requirements.
